Visiting Sheridan's Family & Santa

Friday the 18th we drove from Utah to Idaho. We were able to see my mom and Sheridan's mom in the same day! Neither grandma had met Lincoln yet, so it was truly a great day. We got to spend the morning with my mom which was so much fun!! Then we arrived in Boise in the evening and had a great dinner with Kathy, Kirk, Alexandra, Austin and Leland.

Grandma Kathy (Sheridan's mom) with her 4th grandchild, Lincoln.

Alexandra (Sheridan's sister) with her boyfriend Austin.

The next day we met Alexandra, Leland and Austin at the Boise Towne Square mall for pictures with Santa. It is so nice, they let you sit with Santa and take your own pictures if you like! You can buy their photos, or just take your own. I wish I would have known this before I paid $20 in Utah! Oh well!
Leland was so cute and so full of energy! Here he is playing with the rope. I still can't get over how big and cute he is! He just turned two but looks so much older!
Waiting in line to see Santa...
Alexandra and Leland with Santa
Lincoln with Santa!
There is a little bit of a smile there...
This turned out blurry, but it was so cute to see Sheridan and Leland walking hand-in-hand through the mall. Sheridan loves hanging out and playing with Leland.

Visiting Holly and her Boys!

While we were in Idaho we were able to visit with Holly, Justin and their two boys!! Holly and I met in college and worked at the same fine dining restaurant all throughout college. She is one of my very best friends, although we don't get to see each other often. I always say my wedding never would have happened without her help!! We competed in pageants together and she hosted my Idaho baby shower for me. She had a baby boy about 2 1/2 months before I had Lincoln. It was so nice to call her if I had any pregnancy questions, and I still call her all the time with "mothering" questions! Anyways, they had driven all night from North Dakota and we were only able to visit for a short while, but it was fun! Here are some pictures with her little boy Bo (we didn't get any of Easton, who is 1 1/2).

Bo and Lincoln

Proud mamas!
So cute! Bo 5 months and Lincoln 2 1/2 months
He is such a cute and smiley baby!! He was super happy every time I saw him!!
Haha, Lincoln looks so scared here, but Bo looks good!
Sorry Bo!! Lincoln kept accidentally hitting him :)

Oops! Sheridan accidentally had this on b&w setting. Holly has Lincoln and I have Bo.

Visiting my Family in Emmett! 12/19/2009

We arrived in Boise on Friday night and on Saturday went out to Emmett to see Rick and the younger kids. It was so cute, when we pulled up to the house Luke was waiting in the driveway with this sign!

Lincoln meeting his Grandpa Rudd for the first time! Derek (15) and Luke (10) with Lincoln
Erica (17) meeting Lincoln for the first time
Beau and Erica goofing off and making some Christmas stockings
My adorable little sister!!!
Here I am with Luke (10) I can't believe how much he has grown since this summer!
Talk about growing though....here is Beau with Sheridan....look how tall he is!! He probably grew 4 or 5 inches just in the last six months! He is in 8th grade and super tall.
Luke made this Christmas ornament in his fifth grade class for Sheridan, Lincoln and me.
Knowing we are Boise State football fans he put this funny note with it.
Look how tall my brother Beau is!! I just cannot get over this!
We played Monopoly twice with Luke while we were there. Luke really is one of the funniest kids I know. He told me, "I was so bored yesterday that I decided to play Monopoly with myself!" We taught him some of the rules he wasn't sure about and he smoked us both times!
Rick is building a large addition to their house and it is almost done! Here is where they are now in the progress stage.
Lincoln meeting his Great-Grandma and Grandpa Rudd. We were able to visit with them for about an hour on our way up to Garden Valley.

Lincoln with Grandma Rudd. Unfortunately he got really fussy towards the end of our visit, but it was great to get to spend time with them!

Visiting the Mosmans

Sheridan, Lincoln and I went up to Bill & Merrily's home in Garden Valley on the 21st of December to celebrate Christmas with them. This is Kathy's (Sheridan's mom) dad and stepmom. Garden Valley is a beautiful area about an hour north of Boise. As we were driving I started taking some photos so I could prove to my friends out here on the east coast that Idaho isn't just potato farms! :) Unfortunately, I didn't think to roll down the window so I have the reflection of dirty glass in most of the shots.
This was the very first river where Sheridan tought me how to fish.
Look at the huge chunks of ice!
The very pretty and frozen river

There was a low layer of fog that I thought looked so cool!
Grandpa and Grandma Mosman meeting Lincoln for the first time...he was a little fussy!
We were getting Lincoln to laugh, it was cute
Bill & Merrily with their great-grandson
With both Lincoln and Leland. Leland was SO cute! Everytime the camera would flash he would clap his hands and go "YAAAYYYY!"
Cute Leland who just turned two but is so big!
Cousins!
This was adorable. Leland has learned all of his animal sounds, so you would say, "What does a Cow say?" and he would moo, etc. Well we asked him, "What does a monkey say?" and he would wave his arms and go "Oooh oooh ooh". So cute!!

Grandma Kathy!
Eli and his girlfriend Katie....both shots I took their eyes were closed!

Sheridan was playing horsey with Leland!
