Our Cute Son at 5 Months!

He is sitting up now all by himself!! He does best when we prop him with the Boppy but can do it all on his own too.

Last weekend it was so beautiful we decided to head to downtown DC. We decided to visit the Natural History museum - so cool! Anyone who has young kids or even no kids would love this museum! Here is the huge elephant in the main lobby.

JAWS!!!! Inside the Jaws of a giant great white shark!! :)

Creepy
Then we ventured over to the dinosaur side...
Outdoors Ice Skating Rink infront of the National Archives
I love this little guy!! He is so happy and smiley all the time now!!

Playing with his new front two teeth He is obsessed with his tongue these days!

It was so beautiful outside!! There were runners EVERYWHERE and it really made me miss it!! I need to get my butt back into gear if I am going to run the Marine Corps Marathon in October!

Look at those blue skies!

Lincoln Sitting Up!

Here are some fun videos of Lincoln sitting up all on his own! It was a beautiful 65 degree day yesterday and we had just gotten back from a nice long 2-hour walk! :) Darn, I just watched the video and for some reason it keeps uploading funny. The sound is a little bit off of the video and it appears as though the video is "sped up" or faster than it originally was filmed. Oh well, you can still see him sitting up even if the sound is off :)

Mom's Group Potluck

Here is a picture of Lincoln on the day he turned 5 months! I can't believe it has been 5 months already!!! We love this little guy sooo much.
Last week we had a potluck at one of the houses from my moms group. It was so much fun! Everyone brought either an appetizer or a dessert and we had a great time. Here are a few photos.
Lincoln was really tired and slept through the first hour. He loved this rocker!!
Look at those chubby cheeks! :) Lincoln LOVES standing up (while you help him) and I was able to get a few shots of him standing all on his own in the corner of the couch!

There were about 15 moms there and Lincoln had a great time playing with this little girl, Harper! She is about two weeks older than Lincoln (isn't it funny how we count by weeks when they are this young??) :)

Love this one! What a flirt ;)

Leah had this toy at her house and Lincoln was mesmorized by it!

It had Spanish and English and went through colors and numbers

Lincoln (5 months) with Maddey (6 months)
This was so funny! We tried to get a picture of all the babies who were awake. Everyone did pretty good except for Lincoln. He screamed the ENTIRE time!!!
We were cracking up:)

Consignment Sale and Lincoln's First Tooth!

Sheridan and I recently went to a consignment sale with one of our friends and my mom's group. It was pretty neat and you could have gotten some really good deals. However, it was almost overwhelming there were so many people!!

We stood in line for about 30 minutes, and the line wrapped all throughout the local high school! Here is a picture of some of our friends: From L to R: Christina's Husband and their baby Max, Sheridan, Our friend Meghan, Christina (from my mom's group)

Look at the long line! We got there around 8:30 am and the doors opened at 9.
It was a madhouse once we got in! There were SO many baby items, and people were just grabbing anything that they thought they might want. We didn't go in looking for any specific items, so we were a little overwhelmed! :)

Look at all the baby toys!
While we were waiting in the looooong line....
We ended up getting a few toys and two outfits for less than $20! Good deals, but boy oh boy, there were a LOT of people!!
On a second note, Lincoln is getting his first two teeth right now!! I noticed the teeth the other day. Lincoln was hungry but I wasn't able to feed him at the time and so I stuck my finger in his mouth to appease him. All of the sudden I felt something rough on his bottom gums and realized he had two teeth popping through!! Here is a picture of the teeth when I first noticed them (you can barely see them) and they have come through a lot since this picture!
Lincoln has been really fussy at night and is waking up about every 45-60 minutes. It has been a rough week. He also has a runny nose and a pretty bad cough, but no fever. Hopefully these teeth come in quickly! :)
