Cherry Blossom Festival

Each year in Washington DC they have the Cherry Blossom Festival. Since we are only about 20 minutes from downtown DC we decided to head down this year! We didn't go down for the parade (we heard it is really hard to get tickets and is really crowded) but did head down to see all the pretty Cherry Blossoms. It was really crowded but I am glad we went!

We saw someone getting married taken - how pretty would those pictures be!?
Sheridan pushing Lincoln in the stroller (that he kept fighting to get out of)
In front of the Washington Monument
The Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom! It was so pretty to see thousands of trees in bloom

It was very crowded though!

I love Lincoln's face here! He was so excited to see the flowers!

We set Lincoln up on a branch of one of the trees but he didn't like it so much.
He started screaming
and kept trying to get down
Cute family photo with the Jefferson Memorial in the background
Afterwards we stopped at this place called "Ben's Chili Bowl". It was featured on the Food Network and is one of President Obama's favorite places to eat in DC. The staff is very friendly and there was a line all the way out the door!
Lincoln was amazed with the colors on this bear
This was funny....the sign says,
"List of people who eat free at Ben's Chili Bowl:
BILL COSBY
THE OBAMA FAMILY
And no one else"

There are pictures of famous people eating there all throughout the restaurant
Lincoln's first time eating chili fries! :) He liked them
The food was really good too! If you visit DC I would recommend stopping here.
